To encourage children to read over the summer, the Turtle Lake School District has created a Summer Reading Challenge. All students going to be Kindergarten - 5th grade are challenged to read at least 960 minutes during the summer. This only means reading 4 days a week for 20 minutes. Reaching this goal by the time school starts up in the fall means they will be invited to a Reading Party at the beginning of the year. There are 2 other milestones for students to reach with this challenge. For each one they meet, they will receive a reward.
Happy Summer Reading!!
