The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. Requirements:

The program guarantees scholarships and grants to pay for tuition & segregated fees for students whose household adjusted gross income (AGI) is $56,000 or less. Incoming freshmen will receive eight (8) consecutive semesters (4 years) of free tuition & segregated fees and transfer students will receive four (4) semesters (2 years).  You are automatically applying for this scholarship when you submit you application to attend.

Polk-Burnett Electric Coop Scholarship Local 1/1/2024 $1500
Requirements:

Class of 2023: Polk-Burnett Electric Cooperative is now accepting online applications for its Community Service Scholarship Program. The co-op will award $1,500 scholarships to 90 students in the Class of 2024, for a total of $127,500. Scholarship candidates are also invited to apply for the 2024 Youth Tour of Washington, D.C. Two trips will be awarded, valued at $2,500 each.

Polk-Burnett’s scholarship program is based on community service, not academic grades, athletic performance or financial need. Candidates are required to submit a community service resume. In addition, candidates must be 1) the child or legal dependent of a Polk-Burnett Electric Cooperative member, 2) graduating from high school in 2024 and 3) continuing education at an accredited technical school, college or university after high school.

Requirements:

The 2032-24 WiRSA Scholarship Applications are now online. The deadline for scholarship submission is February 20, 2024. WiRSA has always provided six scholarships to member school students and we added an additional six scholarships for students specifically going into the field of education in 2022.

WEAC Scholarship State Wide 2/1/2024 $1450/year for 4 years
Requirements:

The deadline for applying for the four WEAC Scholarships is February 1 every year 

Scholarship winners will receive grants of $1,450 per year for four years of college or university study, if they remain eligible.

Only high school seniors are eligible to apply, and only if a parent qualifies in one of these membership categories: an active WEAC member, an active retired member, or a parent who died while holding a WEAC membership.

In addition, the student must rank in the top 25% of his or her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (based on a non-weighted 4.0 scale) at the time of application, plan to pursue an education major or minor, and intend to teach in Wisconsin.

The local chapter of NWTF is looking for a Turtle Lake student who loves the outdoors.  This scholarship has many levels to it.  There is the $500 local level and then the $1000 state level.  Then there is also a $10,000 national level.  This scholarship is well worth your time to fill out. Wisconsin Title 1 Association Scholarship State Wide 3/1/2024 4-$1500
Requirements:

Every year the Wisconsin Title 1 Association is proud to help graduating seniors pursue their dreams by awarding up to four $1,500 scholarships. All recipients have been in a Title 1 program sometime in their school career.

Upon further study of the applications, a member of the scholarship committee may interview individuals who qualify. The scholarship is awarded at the Wisconsin Title 1 Association's Spring Conference.

The Treasurer of the WT1A will make scholarship payments directly to the school/college that the recipient will attend upon receipt of tuition bill. It is the recipient's responsibility to get a copy of the tuition bill to the Association Treasurer. Payment will be made during the year following the spring of receipt.

Requirements:

Mosaic Technologies proudly announces it has opened its scholarship application window for 2024 graduating high school students who will attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Since 1999, the company has supported 132 students in their pursuit of a higher education totaling $119,500 throughout our service area.

Scholarship applicants with parents or guardians who subscribe to service(s) with Mosaic Technologies are eligible to apply for one of our scholarships up to $1000.  Successfully submitted applications will be chosen based on their essay and individual community involvement.  The essay response must include the following:  the importance of broadband beyond entertainment, how broadband contributes to economic growth and development, and how broadband has changed the landscape within your rural community’s growth and development through its contribution to attracting people and business.

We are pleased to offer 2- $1,000 Cooperative Achievement Scholarships opportunity to your high school seniors. We kindly ask that your scholarship committee choose one eligible student that ranks in the top 6-25% of the class. We prefer that the student chosen does not rank in the top 5% of their class. Jerry Larsen Memorial Scholarship Local 4/1/2024 $600
Requirements:

 

The Polk County Agriculture Advocates will be providing a $600 Jerry Larsen Memorial Scholarship to a 2024 graduate from a high school in Polk County.  The application is due April 1st to the Secretary/Treasurer of our group.

Jerry Larsen was one of the co-founders of the Polk County Agriculture Advocates.  He was active in 4-H and FFA as a youth and was a farmer his whole life.  He was active in the FFA Alumni and state FFA Alumni organizations.

The scholarship will be presented at the Polk County Dairy Breakfast on June 8th this year.  The monies will be awarded after the first semester when the youth provides evidence of completing a semester and enrollment for the second semester.

Youth should have been involved in agriculture or planning to pursue an agriculture related program of study.

The Polk County Historical Society is offering the first ever Glassel-Hofmann Family College scholarship to eligible Polk County seniors in 2024. This need-based scholarship is being offered to students who will be attending a post-secondary institution (ex. technical school, community college, or four-year university). 2023 Joe Kasper Memorial Scholarship Local 4/26/2024 $500
Requirements:

Joe Kasper was a prominent volunteer with the Island City Snowmobile and ATV Club. Joe tragically passed away in a UTV accident on November 29th, 2020. He spent countless hours volunteering to help keep our trails in great shape. This scholarship is dedicated to Joe’s memory. Preference will be given to those seeking a degree from a trade school, vocational school, or a technical school, in addition to those who can demonstrate a high level of volunteer work or community involvement. The Island City Snowmobile and ATV club will award the recipient with a $500 scholarship to be paid during the 2nd semester of their post-secondary program.

Ab Nicholas State Wide 4/30/2024 $40,000
Requirements:

The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation seeks to make a college degree affordable for Wisconsin high school students who participate as players or managers in their school’s basketball program. Need-based scholarships, renewable annually, are offered for two- and four-year programs at any University of Wisconsin System school.

The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation accepts applications from qualifying seniors each year between February 1 and April 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 30th at the email address on file.

Requirements:

The Vintage Voyagers Street Rods of Chetek, Wl, offer a scholarshlp to any high school senior attending Northwood Tech or any other technical college after high school graduation. Field of continued education needs to be auto related (i.e., auto body or auto mechanics), or graphic design. Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship State Wide 5/24/2024 $7000
Requirements:

Each year, in partnership with Rural Mutual Insurance Company and Scott Construction, the Wisconsin Towns Association offers seven $1,000 scholarships to students who are graduating from a Wisconsin public or private high school and will be attending a Wisconsin public or private college or university in the fall of that year. Applicants are required to write a 500-1000 word essay on a specific topic that relates to town government. Proof of enrollment in a Wisconsin private or public college is required.  

This year's essay is "What strategies can be implemented by town officials in collaboration with citizens to maintain civitlty in local government".
