The Turtle Lake School District school board member, Bill Muench, has been recognized by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) for his commitment to the Turtle Lake School District school board.
Muench earned this recognition by attending Wisconsin Association of School Boards training opportunities focused on improving student achievement and public education.
The WASB’s Member Recognition Program tracks the professional development of board members, who may be awarded one of five achievement levels based on a point system. Members receive points by attending the state convention, participating in workshops and engaging in other professional development activities.
WASB Executive Director Dan Rossmiller recognized Muench’s accomplishments at a WASB Region 1 Meeting this fall.
“Board members across Wisconsin have shown a commitment to education in their own professional development, just as they have for the development of our young people,” Rossmiller said. “I thank Bill Muench for going above and beyond on behalf of their students and communities.”
