Come and see what Booster Club is all about!
You are invited to join the Turtle Lake Booster Club. The Turtle Lake Booster Club was originally formed to help oversee all grade school sports programs as well as help with middle school sports. It has evolved into much more than that and has contributed to many organizations and causes from elementary through high school.
So, what exactly does the Booster Club do? In a nutshell, they organize youth athletic programs for students in the Turtle Lake School District. The Booster Club also provides scholarships to graduating seniors and donates to high school athletic programs when needs are present. The club has also helped to build athletic fields for both the youth and the high school programs.
The Turtle Lake Booster Club is committed to building character in the students of Turtle Lake through participation in sports. Sports can teach kids so much more than how to play a game. It provides social interaction, adventure, a chance to build friendships and confidence. It can also teach them about mutual respect. On a physical level, athletics gives them agility, balance, and coordination. The Booster Club hopes to provide these opportunities to all students in our district.
The Booster Club is always looking for other volunteers to help us succeed in our mission to improve the lives of our kids. If you’re interested, come and join the team! We are dependent on volunteers who wish to share their enthusiasm with “our kids.”
Activities the club organizes throughout the year include, but are not limited to: volleyball, flag football, basketball, t-ball, baseball, and softball.
