Turtle Lake Families, check this outβΌοΈ β¬οΈ
A few weeks ago, some of our Turtle Lake students and staff enjoyed a curling outing in Rice Lake. Itβs always great to see our Lakers building connections beyond the classroom! π€©
Now, we have another exciting opportunity for our community. We are currently looking for families who may be interested in hosting an exchange student for the 2026β2027 school year through the Academic Year in America (AYA) program. Students may stay for a semester or the full academic year, and families also have the option to host short-term (6β8 weeks) as a welcome family.
Hosting is an incredible opportunity to share your home, learn about another culture, and make a lasting impact on a studentβs life, while welcoming a new member into the Laker family. π β€οΈ Exchange students come with their own health insurance, spending money, and required documentation, and host families carefully select the student who best fits their home.
