Their hands are warm, but the history is cool! π§ΆβοΈπ§€
The classrooms at Turtle Lake Schools are alive once again, filled with fun and learning. Check out our sixth graders stepping into the brisk new year by learning the lost art of wet felting, a craft that began in Ancient Asia and later made its way to Canada. Using raw wool sheared from sheep, students dyed the fibers and used water and soap to create their own mittens and buckle-waist hand warmers, perfect for the cold season! π₯ΆβοΈ
