The School District of Turtle Lake is proud and excited to begin our inaugural track season in the beautiful Lake Country Dairy Complex. 🤩 Fifty-one high school and 45 middle school athletes are ready to take the track and field to compete this spring. 👏 🏃

Students prepared selections for judges to critique, and state-bound entries will advance to State Solo/Ensemble in Eau Claire on May 2!

Second graders had a chance to explore composing music using electronic devices! 💻🎶 Students created eight-bar songs with rhythms and lyrics, combining melodies and harmonies to make complete compositions. Chrome Music Lab offered many options for students to explore and experiment, making this a fun and engaging experience for everyone! 🤩

Another Laker student is heading to Madison, WI, this weekend for the Youth Wrestling State Tournament! 🤼
Mackenzie Dachel is in second grade and wrestles for the Clear Lake Wrestling Club. She placed 2nd at the youth qualifiers in River Falls and will be competing in the girls division this weekend. 🤩

Turtle Lake School District would like to share some information from the state forester with the Wisconsin DNR. They have recommended harvesting some trees in the south school forest for the overall health of the forest. 🌳❤️

Our 6th-graders have had a great time creating their own board games in art class! ♟️🎲 They came up with a variety of themes for their games and enjoyed playing them together at the end of the week. This lesson was a wonderful opportunity for students to tap into their creativity and have fun! 😊 ❤️
