🎉 Congratulations to Olivia K!

Turtle Lake’s very own student-athlete, Olivia K., has been selected by the WIAA to serve on the 2025–2026 Student Athlete Leadership Team! 💪🏼

Out of over 150 applicants, only 16 were chosen, and Olivia is one of them! 👏🏼 We are proud of Olivia for her hard work and leadership skills during her sport and inside the classroom!

What a fantastic Laker Nation member! 🐢 Olivia, keep up the great work! We are so proud of you!

We’re excited to announce that Turtle Lake School District has been selected to receive the AIFS Foundation’s 2024–25 Tony Cook Memorial Grant! 🌍📚

Local AYA (Academic Year in America) coordinator Steve Eichman presented Hannah Weber with a $1,000 check to support her foreign language class proposal, submitted earlier this year.

We’re so proud of Hannah and grateful for the continued success of the AYA program at Turtle Lake. 🌐

That’s a Wrap on Summer School 2025! ☀️📚🎉 After three incredible weeks of learning, exploring, and loads of fun, summer school at Turtle Lake School District has officially come to an end! Although we’re sad to see our halls empty after this week, we’ll cherish the smiles and memories. ➡️ Check it out! From creative classroom projects and hands-on activities to outdoor adventures and healthy habit learning, our Lakers made the most of every moment, learning and laughing every step of the way! 🐢❤️ A huge thank you to our students, staff, and families for making this summer such a success. Summer School Week One Recap ☀️📚😎 Our summer school explorers are having loads of fun in their geocaching course! Check out these exciting finds:
 🌲 Wyatt Naessen uncovered one of Burnett County’s oldest geocaches, hidden since April 2001, deep in the Burnett County Forest on the Timberland Hills ski trails.
 🔦 Ricky shines the light on our very first puzzle geocache discovery—congratulations to Tevin Nyhus for finding this hidden gem near East Cumberland Cemetery by the Section 10 Church! 🌍 Yesterday brought these explorers to Interstate Park along the Ice Age Trail! Ricky discovered a hidden geocache where we placed a trackable near it, and Jaxon made an exciting find with our very first earthcache. So much to find and discover! 🗺️
