A modern twist on a classic tale! Watch as familiar characters learn that putting down their devices can lead to deeper, more meaningful connections.
Join us Thursday, December 4th, at 7 PM in the Turtle Lake auditorium for a special double feature performance by our drama department! Come support our talented student performers and enjoy an evening of creativity, humor, and heart. Concessions will be available too, so grab some popcorn and enjoy the show! 🎬🐢❤️
🎶 On Monday, November 17, 11 Turtle Lake High School students participated in the Lakeland Conference Honors Band and Choir in Shell Lake!
The Honors Band worked with clinician CW3 James Baxter, while the Honors Choir collaborated with clinician Charles Moe. Our students spent the day growing, learning, and making music, all leading up to a wonderful public concert to showcase their hard work. 🎼✨

Chicks and Salsa in the Classroom!? 🐔🌶️📚
Mrs. Warner’s class dove into Chicks and Salsa by Aaron Reynolds, a fun story about what happens when the farm animals decide they’re done with boring chicken feed!
Students practiced sequencing events and worked through a Story Grammar to learn all the key elements of a story.
To wrap up the week, we celebrated with a Chips & Salsa Party! 🎉 Students explored fresh ingredients like cilantro, garlic, and chiles, and tasted guacamole, salsa, and queso. A delicious ending to a great week of learning!

National Guard representatives stopped by our cooking class for an exciting Top Chef–style challenge! Each team received two MREs and had to transform them into a brand-new dish, all while racing the clock ⏱️ To earn bonus ingredients, students completed fun physical challenges like planks and linked-arm cooking! 💪🔥
