Energize your day - Eat School Breakfast! 🥞🍎 🥣🍌
Mornings can be hectic… the alarm doesn’t go off, kids don’t want to get up, there’s no time to eat before the bus comes, or they’re just not ready for breakfast yet. Sound familiar? We’ve got great news for you! 👇
Breakfast is served at Turtle Lake School — and it’s FREE for all students this year! 🎉 For the 2025–2026 school year, Turtle Lake School is operating under the Universal Free Breakfast Program, which means every student can enjoy a FREE breakfast at school each morning. No better deal than that! 🙌
A healthy breakfast helps students:
⚡ Start the day with energy
🧠 Stay focused and alert in class
💪 Get important vitamins and nutrients for a strong, healthy body
Help your child start the day off right by enjoying breakfast at school! 😋
Please note: This program applies to breakfast only. Families must still complete and return the free/reduced meal application to qualify for free or reduced school lunch.

These Lakers have BRIGHT futures ahead of them! ☀️😎
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, our 8th-grade class participated in Mock Interviews as part of their Career Unit. Students prepared a job application, created a resume, and practiced answering interview questions in preparation for the big day. 📝👔
Although many were a little nervous, they did a fantastic job and received positive, helpful feedback that will benefit them in the future. We are proud of the effort and professionalism our students showed! 👏
A huge thank you to our local business partners who volunteered their time and helped make this event a success:
⭐ Jolene Nitchey-Keppen & Allison Nitchey – Cheese Bros.
⭐ Kaylee Torgerson – Coffee Barn
⭐ Jack Swenson – Hotel Bar and Grill
⭐ Toni Monforton – Lake Country Pizza
⭐ Laura Osterberg & Kayla Mullen – McDonald's
We truly appreciate our community members for supporting our students and helping them gain valuable real-world experience! We are beyond proud of our 8th-grade students and the work they are doing in this class! 💛🐢❤️

⭐️ Elementary Student of the Week: March 3–6, 2026 ⭐️
🎉 Congratulations, Marshall! 🎉
Marshall was chosen as Student of the Week because he demonstrates many great qualities in and out of the classroom. Marshall is kind and respectful to all teachers and peers. He is always smiling and looks at things from a positive angle. 😃❤️
Marshall consistently tries his best and gives each task his all, even if it is new or challenging for him. We can always count on him to clean up his materials, put things back in the appropriate place, engage in our learning discussions, and get right to work. He takes his time and is meticulous, always striving for the best outcome. Marshall is a great role model for his peers to look up to, and it has been so fun to watch him develop and grow this year. 🤩👏
