On Tuesday, March 12, the Middle School and High School Choirs traveled to Prairie Farm to participate in the Large Group Festival Contest. Students performed three songs for three different judges, including one selection from the state-approved list.
Middle School Choir earned a rating of 1️⃣ (Superior).
High School Choir earned a rating of 2️⃣ (Excellent).

This class is designed to give students hands-on learning experiences with music and to help them understand how music impacts our lives in many different ways. 🎵 We cover topics like music in marketing, music history through the decades, different genres across the globe, and even bucket drumming! 🥁 🤩

Our Laker boys put up one heck of a fight! It was a close game up until the final buzzer. Prentice took home the win, with the final score of the game being 60 to 58.

On March 14 and 15, the Northwoods Figure Skating Club at the Rice Lake Ice Arena will present the club’s annual skating show! ✨⛸️ This year’s show theme is “Heroes vs. Villains,” and it will feature talented skaters from across the local area, including two of our own! 🤩

Last week, our 4K students celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a week full of silly fun and learning! 🤪 Some of the exciting activities included building The Cat in the Hat towers, making Truffula trees, showing off Thing 1 & Thing 2's crazy hair, exploring different places we would go, and measuring with a foot. 🎉
It was a wonderful week filled with creativity, laughter, and imagination. We love seeing our Little Lakers learn and have fun along the way! ❤️💛
