Week Two of Summer School is Here! ☀️📝
Our Lakers are ready to kick off another fun-filled week of learning and exploration at Turtle Lake School District! 🐢
➡️ Swipe through to see some of the big smiles from week one! 😄

Summer School Week One Recap ☀️📚😎
Our summer school explorers are having loads of fun in their geocaching course!
Check out these exciting finds:
🌲 Wyatt Naessen uncovered one of Burnett County’s oldest geocaches, hidden since April 2001, deep in the Burnett County Forest on the Timberland Hills ski trails.
🔦 Ricky shines the light on our very first puzzle geocache discovery—congratulations to Tevin Nyhus for finding this hidden gem near East Cumberland Cemetery by the Section 10 Church!
🌍 Yesterday brought these explorers to Interstate Park along the Ice Age Trail! Ricky discovered a hidden geocache where we placed a trackable near it, and Jaxon made an exciting find with our very first earthcache.
So much to find and discover! 🗺️

Summer School Week One Recap ☀️📚😎
Our Turtle Lake Lakers sure know how to tackle summer school! 🎣 Check out the fun these students had during the first week of summer school in our fishing class. It was a week full of fun in the sun and successful catches—what a reel good time! 🐟

🍌 We’re going BANANAS over this! 🍌
Over the weekend, Turtle Lake High School and Middle School track athletes Remi, Colin, Caidon, and Chester traveled to 📍Duluth, MN to take part in the Going Bananas Run! The event supports Project Joy, a Duluth-based nonprofit raising funds and awareness for local food programs.
The participants got a 2-minute head start, and then the gorilla was released. Each runner had a goal of beating the beast to the finish line, and each of our student athletes did! 🏃🏼🦍
Way to go, team! 👏🏼
