Congratulations to Reese, our first Student of the Week of 2026! 👏💛
Reese is a joy to have in class. She consistently works hard to learn and grow, and when working in groups, she goes above and beyond to help others understand the concept or task at hand. Her kindness toward classmates and the smile she brings each day truly make our classroom a better place. 😊
Way to go, Reese! Keep up the amazing work! 🐢✨

The classrooms at Turtle Lake Schools are alive once again, filled with fun and learning. Check out our sixth graders stepping into the brisk new year by learning the lost art of wet felting, a craft that began in Ancient Asia and later made its way to Canada. Using raw wool sheared from sheep, students dyed the fibers and used water and soap to create their own mittens and buckle-waist hand warmers, perfect for the cold season! 🥶❄️

School’s Out for Winter Break! ❄️🌲
Mrs. Warner’s class celebrated the last day before break by listening to the book A World of Cookies for Santa by M. E. Furman. 🍪🎅 Students learned how children around the world celebrate and the different treats they leave for Santa.
They then decorated their own cookies with frosting and sprinkles, yum! 😋
