The kindergarten class had a blast creating their own “Very Hungry Caterpillars”! 🐛🎨
Students picked a variety of colorful circles to create long, wiggly bodies that stretched across their papers. Once their caterpillars were finished, each student designed a unique imaginary world for their caterpillar to inhabit. 🌈

Our sixth-grade students recently dove into the world of Op Art (Optical Art)! 🎨🖌️
Our amazing artists created stunning, vibrant masterpieces that seem to pop right off the page. 🤩 The project challenged students to experiment with a variety of lines and shapes to trick the viewer’s eye. Using geometric layouts, wavy lines, and bold color contrasts, they successfully created the illusion of movement, depth, and three-dimensional space on flat sheets of paper. 📐🌀
From swirling checkerboard tunnels to pulsating geometric spheres, the creativity on display is truly mesmerizing! ✨👀

CAMP TURBO IS ON! 🐢 🤩
We are so excited to announce that Camp Turbo is a go! We are so happy to be able to provide this in-service day camp for our Laker Students! It is going to be so much fun! 🎉
Our first Camp Turbo day will be held at the Turtle Lake School District on Monday, September 28, 2026. It is $20 per day, per student. Drop-off begins at 6:00 AM and pick-up begins at 3:30 PM. Please arrive no later than 6:00 PM to pick up your child. If your child needs to stay after 6:00 PM, they will be brought to Little Lake Club until pickup for an additional fee. The day camp activities will begin at 9:30 AM and end at 3:30 PM.
