On May 14, the Turtle Lake FFA Chapter held an Ag Extravaganza! 🐄🐔 FFA members brought in animals and other agricultural materials to teach students about agriculture. They answered questions, created educational posters, and played games to help younger students learn more about the agricultural industry. 🧑🌾👏
Thank you to Synergy Cooperative and Midwest Machinery for bringing in equipment for students to see as well. It was a successful day of Ag on the Lawn! 😃

The Turtle Lake Schools art department is celebrating the end of the school year and the beginning of a beautiful summer with this crayon mural! 🖍️
This was a collaborative project created by our 3rd–5th-grade students in partnership with a dedicated group of high school students. The younger students led the creative vision, developing a variety of vibrant designs and color palettes. 🎨 Our high school students then helped select the final concept and took on the meticulous task of hand-gluing roughly 4,000 crayons to the board, creating a mural measuring 4 ft. x 8 ft. 🤩
If you look closely, you’ll see some clever improvisations where we ran out of materials, a true testament to the creative process! This project was designed to bridge the gap between elementary and high school, demonstrating that we can create something truly amazing when we work toward a common goal. We hope this lesson in unity stays with our students for years to come. 🎉😊
