Vincent has been with Turtle Lake for 14 years. He shares that his greatest accomplishment in high school was lettering in every sport he played! His favorite teacher is Mr. Kahl, and he loves the color blue! After graduation, he plans to pursue a career as an electrician lineman. We cannot wait to see what your future holds, Vincent! Jade loves to play volleyball and has even had the honor of playing overseas. After graduation, she will be attending college at UW–River Falls, majoring in ag marketing and ag business. On Wednesday, April 15, Turtle Lake High School was proud to be represented by seniors Ryanne Nykanen and Luke Moen at the Lakeland Conference Scholar Athlete Awards Banquet hosted by Shell Lake High School. 🤩🐢
Twenty-six student-athletes were recognized for their athletic and scholastic excellence by their schools and the Lakeland Conference. Luke and Ryanne were joined by their parents, their coaches Jonathan Chamberlain and Jon Bussewitz, and Activities Director Mary Mau. All were treated to a wonderful dinner and an inspirational keynote address by Craig Miles, a former high school coach and official and current assistant football coach at UW–River Falls.
We are so proud of Luke and Ryanne and all of our incredible student athletes we have within our district here at Turtle Lake! Keep up all the amazing work! 💛❤️
