Track and Field Fundraiser!! 

Help us build a new Track and Field!

Update: 

Thanks to the fundraising efforts and donations over the past few years, we have been able to get detailed plans of the new track and field areas.  This has allowed us to use our donations to start on the Long/Triple jump area.  We have also completed soil samples that have told us that we do not have to replace the subsoil under the track.  This will save $75,000 when the track is replaced.   When the plans are finalized we will post them to this webpage.  

In the past couple of years, we have updated our baseball, softball and football fields with help from generous donors and volunteers.  A new track and field is the last step in providing a safe and appealing outdoor facility.  We would like to offer our PK-12 students a track that would be used for physical education classes and athletic programs.  The track would also be open to the community on off-school hours for walking and running.  

The football field will not be changed or moved.  Surveyors have determined the new track will fit in the current space without moving the bleachers or football field.  

The Turtle Lake Track and Field would include:

• A new 8-lane track with rubberized coating
• Field events with safety fencing 
• Drainage for a long track life
• Pole Vault, Long Jump/Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus areas
