A Fabrication Laboratory (Fab Lab) is a term developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This is a place where students are able to dream of, design and create almost anything. Fab Lab's allow students access to the latest design and fabrication equipment, including: CAD (computer-aided design) software, laser engravers and cutters, 3D scanners, 3D printers, and milling machines. By combining experimentation and problem-solving skills with innovation state-of-the-art technology, students are being able to turn their ideas and make them a reality.
