Instrumental/General Music Teacher Email Phone: 715-986-4470 ext. 2233 Hello! I'm Caroline Connolly and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd-5th Music, Middle School Band, and High School Band here at Turtle Lake. This will be my first year teaching at Turtle Lake School District.
I grew up in and around Appleton, Wisconsin and have been living in Northwest Wisconsin for the past 5 years. In 2019, I started attending UW-River Falls and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental/General K-12 Music Education in December of 2023. After substitute teaching in Hudson and Somerset, along with giving private lessons, I am thankful to spend my first year as an educator here in Turtle Lake!
The reason I became a teacher is to provide students with a space where they can feel comfortable and safe expressing themselves and exploring music. Growing up, I struggled with fitting in and being comfortable with who I was at school. I found that the only time I could truly be myself was when I was making music. Here at Turtle Lake, I aim to foster an environment where students will be comfortable being who they are while exploring music and trying new things.
Aside from music, I love spending time reading, painting, exploring, and spending time with my Rottweiler puppy Oppie, along with my cats Hank and Celia.
