The Department of Chemistry at UWSP urges qualified students to apply for the Trytten Scholarship, awarded annually to an incoming freshman who intends to major in Chemistry at UWSP. The scholarship is named after the late Professor Roland A. Trytten, long time faculty member and leader of the Department of Chemistry at UWSP.
The Nature of the Award:
The total amount of the award is $4,000, applied to your UWSP tuition each semester in the amounts of $200 the Freshman year, $400 the Sophomore year, $600 the Junior year, and $800 the Senior year.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE WPPA SCHOLARSHIP?
Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field – which does not include law school – is eligible.
HOW DO STUDENTS APPLY?
- Complete the Scholarship Application in its entirety.
- Enclose a typewritten essay (on 8½ x 11 paper) of 200 words or less outlining why you have chosen a law enforcement career. Include any special projects relating to your interest in law enforcement and any other factors you wish the committee to consider.
- Type in the top right corner of each page of the essay your full name and complete address.
- Sign and date the essay.
- Enclose three (3) letters of recommendation from three different sources (i.e., not more than one letter from any one source). Sources may include family, school, neighbor, clergy, employer, civic organization, law enforcement, etc. (For example, send one letter of recommendation from your school, one from a police officer, and one from a family member.)
- Enclose a transcript of high school and/or college grades.

What makes our scholarship unique?
BBB awards scholarships to Wisconsin high school seniors who have demonstrated character, leadership and ethical values. By focusing on these traits, we hope to develop future leaders who will promote ethics in the Wisconsin marketplace.
The students' essay submission is the most important part of the application. We look beyond transcripts and judge applications based on the strength and uniqueness of the personal essay submission, which prompts students to discuss their personal ethics and integrity.
Details of the scholarship:

NTRODUCTION – The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship goes to three (3) deserving graduates of any accredited Wisconsin high school the sum of $1000.00 to be applied to the cost of continuing education at any degree granting college or university within the United States of America. The WITC Promise Scholarship, funded by the WITC Foundation, provides free college tuition for area high school graduates who meet program eligibility requirements. The WITC Promise Scholarship will pay the balance of tuition and fees for eligible students after federal and state grants are applied. Who is eligible for the WITC Promise Scholarship?

The Wisconsin Bankers Foundation (WBF) is pleased to announce the launch of our annual Spring Scholarship program!
This scholarship program is open to all graduating high school seniors who will be furthering their education at a Wisconsin state-accredited college, university, or state-operated technical school. Applicants may plan to enroll on a full- or part-time basis, but must show proof of enrollment for a minimum of eight (8) credits. Note: students planning to attend a government military academy or privately run trade school are not eligible to apply.
Completed applications must be submitted no later than Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
Four awards of $2,000 each will be given to qualified applicants. Selection criteria include:
- Scholastic and academic achievement
- Demonstration of financial literacy capabilities and resources

On December 19, 1995, Officer Michael Baribeau was killed in the line of duty while proudly serving the citizens of Barron and Rusk counties. This annual scholarship has been established due to the generous contributions from individuals and business and will be awarded to a high school, vocational or college student seeking a degree in Criminal Justice or Police Science.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Any student graduating from a Rusk or Barron County High School, any student currently enrolled at WITC, or any student currently enrolled at UW Center- Barron County Campus.
- Application must comply with the admission requirements for a full-time student in a Police Science or Criminal Justice program at a vocational/technical school or college.
- A scholarship award of up to $5000.00 will be granted to the recipient(s) based on the final decision of the Board of Directors.
- There will be no discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, or ethnic background in the awarding of the scholarship.

The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation seeks to make a college degree affordable for Wisconsin high school students who participate as players or managers in their school’s basketball program. Need-based scholarships, renewable annually, are offered for two- and four-year programs at any University of Wisconsin System school.
The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation accepts applications from qualifying seniors each year between February 1 and April 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 30th at the email address on file.

Athletic Requirements

Educational Requirements
- You must be a 2021 graduating senior of a Wisconsin high school – public or private.

- To renew your scholarship, you must maintain performance consistent with the original award criteria, including a cumulative grade point average greater than 2.0.
